We respect your privacy. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights over it. We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

Scalix (“Scalix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a digital marketing and creative agency registered in India. We operate the website scalix.agency and provide digital marketing, content creation, video production, AI workflow, and related services to clients globally.

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name, project details, budget range
  • Email communications: any information you share when emailing us at hello@scalix.agency or any other Scalix address
  • Client onboarding: business details, brand assets, ad account access credentials, and strategic documents shared during project onboarding
  • Job applications: name, resume, portfolio links, and contact details submitted via careers@scalix.agency

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, time spent on each page, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring URL
  • IP address: collected for security monitoring and approximate geographic analytics (country/city level only)
  • Cookies & tracking pixels: see Section 4 for full details

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Analytics data from Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel (aggregated, not individually identifiable)
  • If you contact us through LinkedIn or Instagram DMs, any information shared in that conversation


3. How we use your data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries: to reply to your contact form submission, email, or project brief
  • Delivering our services: to onboard clients, manage projects, produce deliverables, and report on campaign performance
  • Improving our website: to understand how visitors use scalix.agency and improve user experience
  • Marketing communications: to send our newsletter or updates — only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Legal compliance: to meet our obligations under applicable Indian and international law
  • Recruitment: to process and evaluate job applications

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial purposes.


4. Cookies & tracking

Our website uses the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): help us understand visitor behaviour in aggregate. IP addresses are anonymised. You can opt out via Google’s opt-out tool.
  • Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel): used to measure the effectiveness of our own ad campaigns. Not used to retarget visitors on behalf of clients.
  • Preference cookies: remember your cookie consent choice so we don’t ask repeatedly.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner on our website or through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.


5. Third-party services

We use the following trusted third-party tools to operate our business. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics 4 — website analytics (Google Privacy Policy)
  • Google Workspace — email and document management
  • Meta Business Suite — social media management and ad reporting
  • Notion / project management tools — internal project coordination
  • Stripe or Razorpay — payment processing (we do not store card details)
  • Mailchimp or similar — email newsletter (only for opted-in subscribers)

We ensure all third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.


6. Data retention

  • Contact form submissions: retained for 24 months from the date of submission, then deleted unless a client relationship was established
  • Client project data: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 36 months for legal and audit purposes, then securely deleted
  • Email communications: retained for up to 36 months, then reviewed for deletion
  • Job applications (unsuccessful): retained for 6 months, then deleted unless you consent to remain in our talent pool
  • Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months)


7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Right to object: object to our processing of your data for marketing purposes
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent (e.g. newsletter), withdraw it at any time

8. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption on all data transmitted via scalix.agency
  • Role-based access control — only team members who need your data to deliver services can access it
  • Two-factor authentication on all internal tools handling client data
  • Regular security reviews and access audits

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Children’s privacy

Scalix’s services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@scalix.agency and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices,
technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
